The Skinology Seminar

The market is flooded with more and more salons and more and more products every day. The salon across the road from you or on the next block may even have the same products and offer the same services as you do. So what makes you different and what makes your salon different from any other.
IS IT IMPORTANT-ABSOLUTELY!

The more you can differentiate yourself and your salon from other spas and salons the more you will stand out in the crowd, the more your salon will be something more important, more valuable to your customers and community, something that people will talk about and want to be a part of. Become an ingredient expert , your customer's skincare guru.

The Skinology Seminar is about skin, ingredients and knowledge. It supplies you with information that is essential for decision making and skincare choices for your professional and personal life. A large part of that knowledge concerns what effects specific ingredients have on the skin in order to solve skin problems, answer customers expectations and position yourself firmly as an expert in your field.

Health Authorities who are thought to protect us from unhealthy ingredients don’t have the time or interest to do so. They are occupied with analysing medication and food and leave skincare ingredients in the hands of the skincare companies. Skincare companies have their own interests relating to profit, not to our health and our skins. It is our job as professionals to protect the skin of our customers.

Loosely used terms used by cosmetic companies, ie “natural”,”holistic” and “organic“ are meaningless if the ingredients present in the products do not comply with these statements, and in addition if these ingredients are not compatible with the skin, ones health will be affected. Less than 25% of natural ingredients are present in most products that claim to be natural!

The most important question you as a salon owner should be asking yourselves when you make choices of products for yourself, your family and your clients is simply, “what is in the jar?“ Are the ingredients present in the product able to carry out the promises that they make. Are the products able to carry out those promises in a safe, healthy, toxin free way.
We are often told about the main active ingredients in the jar but not about the ingredients that are not healthy or even damaging to the skin.

There are 11,000 ingredients used in skincare products and many of them are ineffective or damaging to the skin. We as professionals NEED TO KNOW.

Join us at our Skinology Seminar "what is in your Jar". Position yourself as an ingredient expert and be in a position to help your customer to a healthy toxin free skin!
Come prepared to be shocked! I was
